The recognized leader in Citation Performance Enhancement Modifications had its modest beginnings in early 1983, in the south central Texas community of Uvalde. Sierra originated as a Flight Operations and Aircraft Maintenance Center with a toe-hold in the modifications industry. The company prospered under the able direction of its President, Mark Huffstutler and within a few years had received FAA approval for a number of STC’d modifications applicable to selected single-engine and twin-engine aircraft. In 1986, Sierra obtained the rights to produce the Eagle modifications and Longwing modifications pertaining to certain models of Cessna Citation aircraft.
